    CTS: 1973 911S Targa

CTS have a 1973 911S targa for sale (I have no connection with this car). Their ad reads:

    1973 Porsche 911 S Targa
    Light Ivory
    Targa
    5 Speed Manual
    2.4 litre
    115,132 miles
    VIN-No. 9113310833
    A$ POA

A marvellous Concours d' Elegance winner, this 1973 Porsche 911 S Targa is one of only four cars delivered here. Having undergone a total ground up body and full mechanical restoration, this is a beautiful light ivory 2.4 engined example from the most precision engineered marque. An outstanding machine, it competes with any modern vehicle from the point of view of looks, build-quality, condition and everyday usage.
Complete with all its original service and log books including its certificate of delivery when new, this Porsche looks and drives as new but comes with all the cachet of the most superior classic.

A very collectable car and a joy to drive. Original options include, Sport Recaro seats, tinted glass and extremely rare period ski racks.

it is the same car. the asking last time (may 2010) was about 160K and the time before (a couple of years earlier than that) $150K
be interested to see what the asking is this time. it has done about 3000 miles since the first time it was offered - 4 to 5 years ago

I sold the Recaros to the third owner back some time ago. I know him and he may be able to shed more light on its early history.

Car is no longer shown as "under offer" so the sale must have fallen through. Asking price remains $164,995.

I noticed that as well Nick. In the coming soon section they have a 1970 911S Coupe, it will be interesting to see what the asking price will be for that $180 -$200k??
