    WTB - 2 Weber Trumpets

    Hi All

I'm chasing two plastic trumpet/bell-mouths for 40mm weber carbs... The old plastic is brittle and I've managed to crack two of mine They don't have to be pretty just sound.

Let me know what you've got (I'll buy singles if needed).

    Cheers

    John,

I seem to recall some trumpets in my boxes of bits. Not sure of size or make. Will take a look tomorrow. Any tips on how to identify if I have the correct type/size for your needs?

    Cheers,
    Dirk

      Hi Dirk

The plastic trumpets are light, and look a bit like magnesium - not shiny. I think they may have a brass eyelet where the mounting studs come through. And they'll have a 40mm throat I guess...

      Thanks for looking

Have 3 of these but looks like they might be too big?

          Hi Dirk

Yes it looks llike they're from 46mm Webers (either doubles or triples). Thanks heaps for looking.

Anyone else? Even if you've just got one...

I thought about it for a laugh, but they're not seen.
