    1972 2.4E Targa on Carsales

(I have no affiliation with this car)

    VIN: 9112110916
    Price: $17,500

Wonder if this is a RHD conversion? Either way it's a big project for someone brave!

So with that vin number no wondering. It is a conversion

conversion looks pretty rough, sc dash (has air con vents) gauges in wrong spot
        etc...

I had organised on Friday for a friend to look at this car on Saturday as I am 3hrs away, when he rang to t up a viewing time he was told it was sold (depending on funds clearing). Spoke with the owner today and vehicle has sold going to Vic. She has had many calls on the car and offers over the selling price even though the deal was basically done!

Will be interesting to see if the new owner pops up on this Forum (or is already a member)

Surely 17k is less than the sum of the parts.

Agree Dirk. As long as the engine and transmission are ok I would have thought you could strip the car and recover at least $17k. Pretty safe for the buyer.
