    Your opinion please

    Hi,

I like the look of this car. Has it been discussed on this forum before. The new photos he/ she has added with the Fuchs really make it.

    Any pros and cons ????

    Cheers

    Jim

Just to add it will probably be stripped/ painted and engine/ box overhauled. Looks like a nice starter pack but price wise it's still up there after I do all the work but at least it is a 911!!!!!!

Also Carb's as well!!! Seeing that is it NOT an Aussie delivered car would I be better off buying a RHD from overseas?

Jim, i think you should have a look at Mark Munros' 911 (if it's still available). By the time you factor an engine rebuild and body work on the burgundy 911 you will be way ahead with Marks car. Or if you want a rebuild then Simons, Aus Delivered pastel blue will be worth looking at. That's my 2 cents!

RHD markets from overseas limits you to UK, NZ, South Africa, Japan (but LHD is more prestigious there) so not a lot of choices. UK cars will be rusty for sure.

Seems too cheap and the first par about the seller having moved O/S screams scam.

Do not part with any money until you see the car in person!

Not all UK cars have rust in them, Phil. (Not anymore, anyway!)

Has also been advertised on DDK. So might be genuine, but existence, ownership and condition needs to be established first hand. Price is reasonable.

Happy to be proven wrong about a scam, always wary of O/S sellers.

Still think it seems cheap, good basis for a hot rod.
