Overpriced but soooooo sexy!!!! Interior is a bit highly strung for my liking. Is there a colour that a 911 couldn't make look awesome?

          john,
i'm not so sure about over priced.
when you look at the dollar say against the euro or pound, it is a 100K pound car now.
          compare it to this

and it actually looks reasonably priced for a genuine RHD S, FIA spec with all its original bits.
certainly keeping some good company wherever it is for sale !

            Maybe...

But I read it as not having the original S engine and missing significant components that make it an "S".

$199k will build just as competitive car out of a T spec car if you're chasing a racer. Maybe I'm not comparing apples with apples but my view was based on the apparent attributed value of the car to the car's S providence.

I stand corrected on the engine missing - I see that it's included, but I don't see how the car is eligible for Group Sc in it's current format? But it is nice that it's already logbooked and that would add some $$ to the right buyer.

I have no doubt that as an S it could be worth $199k in the future, but not before many much better S cars available for much less right now.

Looks like Rob Black's car? I've probably got a photo or two of it from various Classic Adelaide's.

It will be interesting to see what it goes for, I think its a big ask and the market pays for originality, not a CAMS log book.

I'd be scared to rally it at that sort of value !
