Yes wayne Seabrook's car. An Austrialian delivered car and , I think , one with a special history
Wayne and I were talking about its history last year and we both thought that this may be the "John Gregory" PCV raffle car from many years ago

It is a very quick car and Wayne is a great driver. Wayne had the car at Wakefield Park last weekend and had some great dices with a surprisingly quick Healey 3000. It was wonderful to watch.

Great to finally see some photos of the front of Wayne's car - I only ever saw it from behind on the track........

Wayne drove it to and from the track!

Considered this car when I was looking a few years ago. I was very green at that stage, but the body sure looked sound to me. Was not asthetically 'stock' enough for what I was after at that stage. Sat in the passenger seat. Can confirm quickness of car and driver.

Ooooooh that is as close to the perfect all rounder (to my eyes) I've seen Does it have it's original engine.

So how would Phil's R stack up against this for value?

I don't believe it is matching numbers, though I may be wrong.

Does anyone know who built the engine and gearbox in the car?

Can't help with this but I seem to recall someone suggesting the engine might be a bit "BIG".

Probably just a disgruntled competitor that couldn't keep up so don't sue me as there may be no basis in this suggestion, just my vague recollection.

Plus it keeps the thread near the top so can only help promote the sale

                              cheers
