    WTB - 911 Shell

    Helping a friend to locate a 911 shell (or two)...

    - Building a tubed race/time attack car
    - Just after the roof-line and sills for the silhouette - Any year
    - can be targa or coupe for the purposes
    - can be LHD/RHD
    - don't need VIN
    - can be in very poor condition
    - Must be cheap (most of it will become scrap in the process

    Essentially the candidate will be close to being sent to the scrappers Any leads appreciated.

    there has been a roof clip on ebay a couple of times- i just had a quick look and its not listed at the moment but worth keeping an eye out for.

        Jim, I think you're going to struggle to find the correct rear quarters for your car - nothing SWB is being given away these days. You may have to brace yourself for purchasing new units? I have a complete set of extra hanging panels for my 68 to go racing - except for rear quarters. Just can't find them now...

                      Its a better option than cutting up my car and turning it into a K3.

                      The way early car values are going I'm looking at resto options.

                        Indeed! At the price they're getting to even the Mad Scientist's car is almost worth the effort!

                        Your car can at least run Group N or S with a little work

                          That's what I was thinking. It's a bit too far gone for a road going resto but there are a few options on the historic race car side of things.
