    70/73 S? Targa RHD Conversion

    http://www.carsales.com.au/private/d...?Cr=10&sdmvc=1

Yes it's a RHD conversion, yes it's a Targa, and some questions... 70 or 73, S or not?, matching numbers or not?, seats (and other stuff) not stock.

Overall however it does look tidy, and asking $35k... discuss

It sure is a mixed bag CIS engine so if its an S that means not numbers matching, if its a 70 means LHD for sure as no RHD Targa till 73.

I just phoned... turns out the lady's husband (passed away 6 years ago) did the conversion himself and did some paint.. she thinks he imported it from Japan since he got a few cars in at the time and sold them off.
Her son in law posted the advert for her. Unfortunately, she doesn't know much about it.

I wonder how well the conversion was done?

That makes it a 73.5 I think. If so it's pretty rare.

              Half-year production run...

Looks like a pretty easy car to "tidy up" back to full early look... And price is a lot better that some tags we've been seeing
