WTB sound 2 litre for rally car

Hi folks, now the S is going looking for a sound 2 litre to build rally car. Prefer LWB. Ideally would be a structurally sound shell and a sound, functioning engine and box, the rest doesn't matter.

Don't care if it's left or right hand drive or converted or not.

    Appreciate any leads or suggestions.

If you know of a separate 2 litre in decent nick - ideally alloy case - appreciate a heads up. May have to get engine and a shell separate and bring together, suppose depends on what's out there.

I ain't looking to win a world championship so it all just has to function and so I can run in under 2 litre class at club/state level. Have been running a Datsun 1600 since 2006 and looking to merge 2 interests in to one.

    Getting harder to find Mitchell

They're well sort after for Group S circuit racing... Depending on the class rules, you may be better looking at 2.0 cars in the States - $40k seems to find some nice cars already set up...

Mitchell, my '66 911R project car is for sale. its an alloy 2.0 litre engine and runs well. My mechanic has advised he could sell just the engine and 901 box for over $30K so the entire car will be a lot more than that.

If you are interested to discuss it, pls PM me.

Congrats on selling the S to the UK. Will be an interesting exercise to see what the shipping costs etc are getting it back to the UK.

I assume the Minister for Finance is happy ?

Phil, you know I love your 911R.
I did hear that there may be a yellow car in your future.
I might need to fly to Melbourne again
