Hi, I'm having to rationalise, and unfortunately my 912 has to go...

It's a 68 LHD US delivered car, with Vehicle Import Approval papers.

It was originally Coffee (Cocoa Brown), one of 14 I think (some may say this was a good thing), now a Yellow. The deep red interior seems reasonably complete (needs correct door cards and pockets), parts could be refurbed and although I like the colour someone else may wish to tone it down.... It's a four speed sitting on 14" Fuchs.

It is almost definitely matching numbers as far as my research goes, but haven't got a COA - VIN and engine no. from same period.

It will come with it's original seats, and a new number plate, although I'm happy to talk about the BF Torino seats and number plate (901 912)currently in/on the car. It will also come with the existing and it's original steering wheel.

I've put a magnet around the bottom 6 inches and it doesn't fall off if you bring Fishcop and/or his screw driver down you have to stay for a BBQ.

It goes well and handles well and a good daily driver that you could do as much or little as you wanted to.

It had a fair amount of mechanical work done (see below), and refurbed petrol tank when I bought it and since then I've had some suspension bushings replaced, the car raised (it was that low it was sitting on bump stops) and metal welded up around front suspension points which had started to crack as a result of it being that low.

I'm not an expert on these engines...but it feels to me like its either been bored and/or got a better cam in it.

Work done prior to my purchase per owner:
    Replacement Euro OG Hella lenses
New horn (not successful - I've got a new cancel ring with it though)
    New brake reservoir
    Brakes machined
    New hood and deck-lid struts
Gas tank restored lined and sealed and painted
    New A arm bushes
New ball joints and tie-rod ends
    New pedal assembly bushes
    New shift coupler/shaft bushes
New headliner/carpets (they are pretty good but Clyde would have a fit)
New crank, rear main and fuel pump seals
    Engine tins, valve covers refurbed
Webers (Italian IDF40's) refurbed and have new jets, emulsions and correctors
New generator, voltage regulator, coil, leads points and plugs
New pulleys, belt, impeller and hubs
    New engine and transmission mounts
    New accelerator cable
    New Konis to rear
    CV's repacked and rebuilt
    New tyres

I've had the rear spring plate and trailing arm bushes done.

Happy for it to be pulled apart and tutted about.............but it's a daily driver type car as it is.

I'd like $32K for it, but happy to discuss this with someone who wants to own it longer term.
