Hi Mitchell, I looked for a while but the prices for a good condition OEM alloy lid are very high . . . $4k - $5k, plus cost to ship it from (usually) the US. Firms like Restoration Design carry a replacement alloy version for ~$1200 . . . I wonder whether even Clyde could tell the difference versus OEM once it's painted?

Yes I can, no drain holes in the front for starters.

Nick: two things I would not have sold with my project S if I had known I was going to buy another 7 days later are the seats and the NOS alloy engine cover. 20/20 hindsight!

But very, very happy with purchase, have sorted the seats so time for the alloy things. Prices seem to have doubled since 3 years ago and can't imagine they're going to get any cheaper so might as well jump in now.
