I originally bought this engine from another board member to use in my ST engine rebuild however have decided to go a different path so this is no longer required.
It is a rare engine in that its from a USA 73T MFI car but not the usual 4R/5R case.
Around 145 examples of the 1973 USA MFI car had 7R cases fitted prior to the T having CIS fitted as std (known as the 73.5 T) as they obvioulsy ran out of 4R/5R case prior to the change over.
7R cases are sought after as they are stronger and can handle higher HP in rebuild mode...not that I would know...but thats what all the experts tell me
It was sold to me as follows......
From a lowish milage car
From an unmolested car
Spins freely by hand
Previous owner had never heard it running prior to removal from the car he bought to provide panels for a rebuild and I have not touched it since it was shipped to me so no guarantees can be offerred as neither of us really know.
Prices of the parts alone, if you broke it down, would probably exceed the asking price especially given how MFI parts have risen in the past 18 mths.
$8950...ONO
