Group buy - EOI 911/912/356 - LHD RHD PEDAL PASSENGER SIDE BOARDS

Gents ive started to make the boards and Scotty is the first cab (targa) off the rank.

Just reconfirm your interest (and requirement) on the thread and I will PM you bank acc details.

To secure your order will require a 50% deposit with the balance due on completion.

Finished set of RHD boards driver and passenger ready for mounting hardware are $445.00 a set.
    Std colour - Black

    Driver side $260
    Passenger side $185

New hardware if required will be supplied at cost + $45.00 for fitting. Note prices listed are USD

Clutch Pedal Stop (metal bracket) $57.00
    Clutch rubber stop $4.50
    Throttle threaded bracket $23.00
    Throttle nylon bolt $12.00
    Hold down washer $8.00

If there are 20 or more confirmed orders the price per set, will be $410, as I can purchase a larger qty of material.

For all those who asked for a single side only ill post the price in a tic. Though driver side due to the extra work is more expensive.

Postage at cost. Though can combine orders if you can collect from a nominated person.

As a comparison from Porsche driver side only is $363.00 + GST.

Note: the price is for 911/912 boards. I can supply boards for 356, 914 and 965 and 993's. Yes thats right Porsche still had a bit of 'moggie' in em right up till the demise of the AC

Can do special order if you want something a little different

    Options
sports purpose - go fast holes
    coloured or clear finished boards
    special face veneers
    composites
    machined alloy
    anodizing

Also could anyone who has sporto targa or sporto coupe please supply a template and or crappy board for a template. There's an easter egg in it for you.

Am also working on couple of other ideas one which is kind of Butzi meets Eames moment and will post pic once I've finished the prototype and am happy with the making process - Scotty will be the first to give it a go

    thanks for your interest

Yes Targas are different due to the shape of the footwell area but I don't have a template as you could still buy Targa RHD boards from Porsche when i did the resto in 2003.

Will get my requirements to you shortly for the RHD car.

where good to go, I'll consider making a larger run if the enthusiasm is there .

Merv and others yes I'll make a single side

my 71 is converted LHD - RHD. The issues that you may find is with ithe positioning or lack of the upper fixing locating tabs and or the lower fixing.

There might also be some discrepancies with foot well areas (sheet metal), though less likely to be an issue.

Though for those who have boards in their converted cars are you using orig RHD? if so any fitment issues- please advise.

Otherwise the plan is to make std RHD boards for the converted cars unless there was a need for custom fitment. You would then need to ensure you have mounting points in the correct place.

That said I would make custom to suit. To assist if you can check your footwell area using a mates RHD board, that's a good measure. Alternately i can send a template for you to fit and mark up if there is any discrepancy. I'd use this to then make a fit.

If anyone can loan or trace accurate templates for targa LHD RHD appreciated - gulp sporto targa too if such a thing still exists

With fully set up boards , stops etc, I'll check pricing and add that as an option

                    Thx for the enthusiasm

The pipe cut out on passenger side of RHD is not for air con either its the drain pipe extension from the bottom of the blower to the floor pan.

Do you need that again or do you still have original tracings from Andrew?

Clyde Thx for the pick up will edit. Which year model was the drain tube present, my boards from the 65 912 never had this cut out.

                              I never had Andrews tracings
