66 912 LHD FS Melbourne

Had a look at a 66 912 lhd this morning but not what I'm after.

It's straight with rear flairs and whale tale and not much visible rust , visually a "10 footer "
Running a V6 turbo (not porsche ) engine but does come with an air cooled 4 cylinder. It might be the original engine but I don't know. Has a front mounted radiator etc .
He's looking in the mid $30's for it

Doug is this the car you referred to in a post the other day?

Not much visible rust though the paint is blistered.

It's a LHD car running a V6 Buick. also never been registered in Australia. the spare engine is a typ1 VW motor

The big issue is what they did to drop the engine in as highly unlikely to be registerable in most states with that beastie in it

Doug you saw this evil beastie. Why no pics of the engine radiator install... Or did I just answer my Q?

Michel I think you did !
Couldn't see the radiator as it's under a piece of sheet metal sealed at the sides by expandable foam . It was vented under the car and slots cut into the sides of the wheel wheels .
The paint was blistered all over with rust bubbles at the bottom of the rear window .
I think this might be on the market for a while ?
