For Sale - Australian Delivered 1972 RHD 2.4E with MFI

Good Afternoon,

Its been some time since I've visited the forum & sadly I do so seeking advice for the potential sale of my Australian Delivered RHD 2.4E

Many of you know the car - Vic Rego TYP 901
Many of you also know the pains I had to go to in order to find one & secure one.

Life has its twists & turns, & mine may require me selling the car to free up cash having recently separated from my wife. Needless to say ''Its the last thing I want to do"

Anyway, given the market is red hot, stock is low & this is a fine example, I thought I'd test the market & see what happens (I'm a big believer in fate).

The car is not matching numbers but with a recent engine re build & all the things we like in a good car it's a stunning example -
Classic Ivory with hound's-tooth seats.

I'm considering advertising into my UK network; given exchange rates & the ravenous appetite for these cars back home, however I'd rather see an Australian delivered car stay in Oz.

I need to extract ever last cent of value out of a potential sale & optimise a return to justify letting her go. Given some of the prices currently being asked from CTS, Carsales & recent sales; I going to advertise her at a high price like the Targa at around $157,500 to see what happens.

I'm sad to say like Cam .... its not fun..... and very sad to hear to hear the car needs to go... but do yourself a favour and try and buy something else you can still enjoy.

Very sorry to hear on both counts, I went down your road about ten years ago & it's a miserable business. With time however the twists & turns will take you in new exciting directions so hang in there & don't hesitate to lean on people for a beer from time to time !!

As an update, I've had 3 enjoyable conversations with interested parties.
Two requests for photos & more details & everyone I've spoken with has been a delight. Optimistically we'll keep the Oz delivered car in Oz where it belongs.
