    Tasmanian timewarp 72 911E

Has this been discussed? Claims to be a 28,000 mile "time warp" car from Tasmania.

Not discussed recently but was some years ago when the websters found it in Tasmania. A number of us had a good look over it soon after that when we dropped in there on a club run. It really was a spectacular time warp car.

Wow! Amazing car - like new. Raises the question as to what you would with such car? Drive it?

I also remember seeing this car at that run. It was in great condition from memory...

I enquired about it when I first started looking for a 901 about 12 months ago and was told well north of $250k.

I wasn't in the game at those stakes, so didn't probe any deeper.

                      Looks superb.

What would you do with such a car?

Very nice car (I'd love to have it at home) but over $250k? it's no 2.7 Carrera :p

                          Cheers,

                          Harry.

Yes but if you bought a car and didn't drive it just coccooned it for posterity this is what you would have. A car that is almost 100% as it rolled off the production line. Not dollied up or modified or put right simply a time capsule. Hallelujah.

Forward date it with a turbo flare kit and whale tale.
