WTB front and rear indicator lenses

Per the title, looking for indicator lenses with chrome trim.

Fronts are highest priority, ideally with seal/gasket, in vgood / new condition.

If I must purchase new and given all are about the same price, in your opinion who makes the best repros?

Mark, unlikely you'll get anything really nice second hand (they are all hoarded!).

I've been pleasantly surprised by the latest replicas Sierra Madre (and probably others) are supplying. I had a good look at their stand at Rennsport and was impressed enough to buy a full set for my SWB lights (different to yours). The LWB sets were certainly much much better than in the past.

Uro brand ones are good value and look good enough for most of us.
I think the usual suspects all sell them.

Hard to source good fronts unless OEM.

2 months ago repo fronts from pelican were awful ( which allegedly were Sierra ) but the URO rears were quite good non OEM stuff.

hopefully john has picked up on improvement from old stock they made.

can photograph the (older) newbie front for comparison if that helps.

            Thanks Mario,

I have ordered F&R lenses from Sierra Madre so it will be interesting to see what they are like.

Perhaps if you can post an image here and I will do the same when the newies get here and we can compare.

            Cheers.

Cam A and I had a poke and prod at lenses at the Sierra Madre stand and what they were displaying looked better than any of the repro stuff I'd handled previously. Years ago I received some lenses through Pelican that I binned after they lost the very ordinary silvering after only a year -definitely different and better made than those...

New lenses and gaskets arrived today.

Well wrapped in a box so they didn't get damaged. The fronts seem reasonable, no screws (available separately) and nice colour but it appears the orange is sprayed over the inside of the lens after the silver trim is applied which looks a bit average. - your thoughts?

The rears look good and feel reasonably solid. the colours appear to be separate sections of plastic welded together and the silver trim is neater / better applied.

Don't like the fronts. The ones I looked at were injection molded in colour.

                    Mark,

What's the logo you can kind of make out on the rear lens?

+1 the fronts pail in comparison to those rears.

The rears have a E1 in a circle, below this is an arrow pointing to the front of the car, below this on the red is the number 43299 R7 and on the orange is the same but ending in R6.

These were on special for US $50.

The fronts were US $75 and are a strong and thick feeling plastic but I just can't get over the spray on orange and wonder how long it will last before cracking and peeling.
