    It's back...

Sorta tempted to save this abortion - or at least give it some dignity. I have all the correct hanging panels and access to a replica 356 Speedster windscreen, big banger VW engine and Wevo's new 5spd 356 gearbox... The rear metal work has apparently been screwed with as well, so a Stan Townsend type speedster project could be a goer!

Somehow I think the move to Port Mac/new job/rental house/wife and kid to settle is going to impede this idea There would be over $20k in doing this right, but I think it would be different enough to be attractive to future owners.

To be clear - this is the abomination I refer to. The above photos are the 'theme' I think could be taken to make it a bit more attractive.

I will chip in. Start a club!

Instead of save the whales maybe "remove the whale tales"

Only needs 10 members to get going!

                Sorry Jim
I am definitely a whale lover. Not literally but what would a 930 turbo be without one? Naked. And our 86 Carrera cab hasthe option of with or without depending on the mood.

Back when it was on Gumtree I thought it was a dodgy convertible conversion (that's being kind...).

Now it looks like there's a targa bar or something hiding under the top - and the pics from inside show a headliner/interior lights from a coupe?? Strange indeed.

It's another seller lax on detail... there is a "mix" of photos - some are clearly not the subject car...
