PCB advised this from the VIN.

Vehicle was Irish Green (colour code 6806)
Built 14/5/1969
Eng # 6291738
Delivered to Volkswagen Pacific (Suspect this is in California)

The car had the following option numbers (all descriptions not available but I’m sure a search engine might give some information):

9822 – Leather interior
9347 – Unknown
9348 – Unknown
9350 – Unknown
9431 – Antenna
9437 – Loudspeaker

RHD conversion done with factory panels at some stage in Australia.
CAMS log book issued in 1998 when cage was installed and conversion to Porsche Cup specs completed.

There are some good components:

Damaged 965 (964 3.6 turbo engine. twin plug heads, coil pack ignition) Requires a new barrel and head repair.
Motec M800 with full track mapping and mini dash.
G50 close ratio gearbox
Turbo rear trailing arms 935 style fabricated front suspension
Proflex shocks
Big Red brakes

I've also got RSR front & rear bar, front fenders and duck tail that I'll throw in.

There's the basis of a great RSR track day/race car here if the engine were to be rebuilt normally aspirated.
I just dont have the time or energy to do it at the moment.
