    swb exterior trim for sale

    Hi,

These will be of use to some of you, its best they are used rather than being stored on a shelf.

They are used - and in good condition.

    I have (off my 911L):
2 side decos (narrow - ie. non s). No rubbers inside the deco
    2 rear bumper decos (narrow)
3 threshold (aluminium) plates - 1 is new and still in plastic wrap (I bought 2 left ones in error)
    2 finishing panels.

    $300 for the lot.

Yes ... at this stage the Friday and the Saturday.

I can bring it down if you like..... its all in a poster tube at the moment with the curved rear bar parts sticking out the top.

          Hi Justin,

just curious - are the thin deco's your selling the original ones off your car?

An Aussie L and a UK L I know of currently wear thin deco / rubber for front, rear and rockers, which appear to be original.

However all literature I've read suggests they had wide 'S' trim and deco's.

          Wondering what's correct for a '68 911L.

          Ben.

            Ben,

Like many things I think porsche were consistently inconsistent! I don't think there is any one right deco.

My car was specced with many s options, and while I can't be absolutely certain they are original to the car, I suspect that they are.

Remember there were only 7 or 8 Aussie l's. Not sure how many other row rhd cars there were.

48 years on there are there are a lot less and many cars have been restored once or twice, with trims often changed, as you don't want to repaint a car and have it let down my the old trim, or blinker lenses etc etc etc

              Thanks Justin,

At least the consistent inconsistency gives us a little wiggle room when restoring!

Toby's barn find UK 911L has narrow trim, and looks to be original too.

I guess I'll go with what's on it now.

              Cheers,

              Ben.
