I am also looking for one of these brackets/clips Marcus. If you find a supplier I'd be grateful if you would let us know the details.

        Jock

I've ordered one of these kits .... From advice on ESR. Seems to cover it all.

Thanks for that Marcus. It is probably obviously the case but I presume that although Autoatlanta states that the kit is for a 914 ESR has found that it works on a 911. Correct?

The clip was not a porsche 911 part as such but was a
Blaupunkt radio installation part. The two notches at the back go into the holes
of the strap welded to the firewall and the spring steel clip holds the
                radio in a stable position.

However more importantly you also need the 2 correct 911 blaupunkt spring clips for the front of the radio and that kit does not appear to have them, what is in the kit may be correct for 914 and may work on a 911
but the clips are not what was used on a 911.

They are available regularly on ESR with ENOZ05 I think his handle is.

                  Mark and Jock,

The kits arrived today, the rear clip fits ! The side clips as Clyde wrote, don't appear to suit a 911. Shame they they dont reproduce these.

Send ENOZ05 a PM on ESR he will have the side clips Marcus always does claims they are original I am sure he is reproducing them.

                    Charges $125 US

I'm guessing this setup is also correct for a G-series? I have a Frankfurt radio to refit

If so, (and if Mark Munro wants in), Marcus would you be interested in doing a Melbourne group buy for the side clips?

Thanks Marcus. Will order one for myself. Luckily I have the side clips courtesy of Clyde.

If anyone else (Mark?) wants one perhaps we could do a joint order although I imagine any savings would be small particularly if they have to be posted in Australia.

Thanks Clyde - I'm sorted now for side clips (thanks to Cam ), rear clip as per this post, a new small face to my radio (ENOZ05 - I figuredhe may have them after your tip about the side plate), template for hold it into the silver trim (can't remember - got some time ago - Pelican?) and black trim (courtesy of you a few years ago - about time I got around to sorted it out !!

I just need to cut the black trim and glue it on now ! ( and I suspect some new silver trim - as it a bit scratched and misshaped from people installing and removing radios )
