69T engine case and counterbalanced crank for sale

    Hi,

Since I've found my original engine case, and purchased a plug and play 2.7 to use I no longer need the following items and they are for sale:

    1) 69T engine case (61902XX - 901/03 - 901.101.102.1R/2R) bought out of the US, and I had USD $3.2K of work by Walt at Competition Engineering per the attached invoice. All the standards works plus what he recommended as required, but was NOT shuffle pinned. $5.5K AUD plus shipping. Case eligible for Group Sb as I understand it.

    2) Counterbalanced 66mm crankshaft - checked by Walt and his comments also on the invoice attached. $1.1K AUD, plus shipping.

Prefer to sell as a package. Selling at cost.

Don't like selling pricey stuff to "friends" so would prefer to deliver the case and crank to your engineer here in Melbourne for viewing.

I'll post some pictures a little later.

Please ignore the attachment to this - it's the wrong one - can't delete it (why admin?) and I'll include with pics.

    Cheers

Thanks Julian. I'm having the original case to my 68 done at the moment, but am considering building another Sb eligible engine for the project.

I assume the line item "Standard cut 6 Cylinder Crankcase." refers to the crankcase being line bored. If so I assume it requires a set of 0.25 main bearings? Do you know if The No.8 journal was line bored as well?

                Rob,

Hi, I'm not sure re the No. 8 journal and have emailed Walt - he can take some time to reply and will let you know when he does.

                Regards

                  Rob,

Hi, I've spoken to Walt and the cases themselves have been shaved (as opposed to line bored) and returned to new Standard specification and the the No.8 journal is standard as well, the crankshaft was ground -.25mm or first undersize, so the bearings would have to be first undersize. Part number 911 101 901 50 Mains & 901 103 141 50 on the rods, and no 8 Main would be 901 101 138 53.

                  Regards

                  Julian
