Looks to be on the face of it OK value given the current market (and future), however a very detailed PPI and a TYP 901 guru's view would assist I suspect.

All being equal I'd buy at early to mid thirties.... heck I have seen worse go for more

Ps - do we have any current buyers on the books?

Clyde, well yes... given my clarification of PPI etc etc.

If you could confirm if it was a complete engine rebuilt with receipts and who did the work and barring any rust issues, body rigidity, yes early to mid 30's is reasonable offer / buy in my opinion

Vehicle comprehensively overhauled 3 years ago with a full engine rebuild, new clutch, new heat exchangers, new dash top pad and instrument front trim.

Clyde, I'm still drawing on personal experience, and I guess it is all academic in some respects as this car has not sold for some time now, however the maths still add up to me...

              My purchase
              - car $35000
              - First top end $2500
              - Second top end $1900 (basically thought the first was bodgy, however I have since learned the mechanic did the first top end fine as I still have the same issues)
              - Body work - $6000
              - Various other maintenance $2500

All in the space of nearly three years, now you could all say I was a little naive in the first purchase, however a PPI was done buy a very reputable 911 guy.

And from what I understand I look to be up for a rebuilt in the next 2 years at I suspect little change from $10000.

So if the conversion is an 8 to 9 out of 10, the engine has, as they say been rebuilt and all other body work being equal yes $33 - $35 is a good price.

Is mine now worth $50K - hmm probably not, however I'm not selling either.

Oh forgot to add two new batteries this week at $250 + a tune up an look by Bob Whams I would say will set me back another $400 (I suspect)

Clyde, am I off the mark you think?

Valuing anything through summation is always dangerous – particularly with these cars as the parted out sum of the value doesn’t often equal market value.

Besides, screaming around in a 901, changing gears at the redline = priceless.

Ebay shows the car as sold for $30,600 with only 3 bids.

Despite being a converted car, at that price, and given the recent work done on it, how can you go wrong ?

It was a cheap 2.4 thats for sure.
