Anyone know how much? That is an epitome of beauty and grace. Is that Bahama Yellow?

Can anyone say for sure whether ANY S / T s were made in RHD or was this one converted later ?
Not ridiculing - just a clarification question ....

      Cheers,
      Dennis.

        Its genuine all right

The "thackwell" ST is indeed a genuine RHD ST. It is a(reasonably)well known, important, part of porsche racing history in australia ranking up alongside the hamilton #7 T/R and the yellow "S" of McKeon and the "grace brothers" RS.

the fact that it spent much of its time in WA has made it less well known here than it deserves to be.
I understand from converstions with the current owner over the years that he is indeed the third owner and I am sorry to see him selling it as i had hoped he would be bringing it back to Aust to "do" the season of historic races, the island, winton etc, and classic rallies - targa tas, adelaide, tweed etc. Last time i corresponded with him he indicated he was wanting to do that.

              Nice to hear from you.
I suppose the UK market doesnt place a premium on Oz delivery though?...or maybe they do compared to their own rustbuckets? When you think about it Oz/Nz should be a happy hunting ground for UK buyers - the RHD version of California for the LHD market?
