77 Urban Barn Find (UBF) Rebuild photos

Rear quarters were removed from my 77 coupe today...
Genuine skinny guards being fitted as per original.
Can't wait to see the car when it's painted in Sienna Metallic.

Yes absolutely, although not for the heavy bodywork.
I'm currently rebuilding the engine (had a broken #3 ring), and doing all the body reasssembly as well.

Er, I only have a double garage at home (where the C2.7 continues to sit on jackstands while the engine is rebuilt).
Fortunately the mother in law has a spare single car garage, and I'm renting another garage from one of her neighbours (which I had to pay up front by giving it a coat of white paint).

Wish I had a four car garage, but that's tricky in the inner city parts.

Things are happily moving forward on the 77 coupe.
It's now in etch primer, ready for some colour.

Absolutely! It's a pretty rare colour, and screams late 70s/early 80s. Interestingly it's making a bit of a comeback- I've seen a few SUVs around with a very close match.

                        We now have paint...

                        Car was painted last week.

I am still in the US right now, can't wait to see it in the flesh.

I searched high and low at Rennsport to try and find a Sienna Metallic car, and I could not find one. This seems to be a rare colour indeed. Very happy to go with the original factory colour in Glasurit.
