    Factory number on parcel shelf

    I saw this crayon number on my 77 coupé parcel shelf sound proofing mat the other day.
    '26' does not relate to my production number, chassis number, country code or any option on my car.

    Has any one else spotted a number like this? Or is it a case of Hans or Franz scribbling a random number on my car back in 1977?
