    "Correct" wheel for 74?

Can anyone confirm for me please that this would be the steering wheel my Oz 74 Sporto would have come with (according to the CoA I have just received, built 25/9/73)?

And if so, anyone have one kicking around they desire to part with?

...or might it have been one of these? Or are they an option (according to COA I've just received only option on car was "outside mirror on drivers side")

First Pic is correct, second one is a factory option though.
Can help you on the second but not the first.

I have a spare for my 79 Turbo. I believe it is an early Carrera wheel (74/75) and is a centred 3 spoke and much thicker than the later wheels. I have learnt that the later wheels are concentric to allow the gauges to be viewed.

They are sports steering option (M-No 565) in the 74 brochure. That is why you find them in other 911 model cars from this period as well.

Thanks for the update. I ended up soucing a correct unrestored but near mint wheel from the UK for the turbo. So I now have 3 wheels covering the period 74/88.

The first wheel is known as a 'safety wheel' and is standard.
Second wheel is known as a sports wheel.

Neither are particularly attractive? Can a period correct Momo or Nardi be used instead?

I agree Merv but want original as the sporto is all original except for SC motor. It currently has a 4 spoke momo I really like which I want to put on the 71 (which has a smaller diameter 3 spoke momo I don't much care for)
