    Audi Rs4

I had the pleasure of a drive of one of these last night through some back streets

    307 KW of entertainment!

4.2 litre quattro, goes like stink & sounds super. pulls from 1000rpm and redlines at 8000!

The only downside is the price tage of $168,000 cough cough

I was thinking a wagon version of those would be really nice as my "family" car... Pity about the price tag though...

    Cheers

This was the wagon! Go for it!

Nanna could drive it to the shops its so tractable and then get it out for some circuit work on the weekend.

Yeah shame about the price tag as always....

      Cheers

        Here's the deal mates....

I've always been rather outspoken when it comes to automotive design... (Ya'think!!!) ..... And, maybe it's a generational thing... (I haven't been 29 or 36 for quite a long time... )

I think the Audi Rs4 is a GREAT car...

HOWEVER.... In my opinion (along with Chris Bangle's 'organic' form for BMW and a few others I won't mention) whoever styled and whoever OK'd the uni-mouth front end look on the Audis and VW's (and others who are following suit in this 'forward thinking' designed) should be 'HORSE WHIPPED'...
Sometimes designing 'out of the box' doesn't make it better.....

        Just my opinion................

        Cheers,

            Hey Chuck,

I actually dont mind it personally......

Although the new TT doesn't really appeal much i must say.

Hate to say it Chuck, but i think the new look rocks!!! not that i don't lie the old look, i just think it looks a bit... old.

I don't have kids, but I could imagine that the school run would be a hoot in one of those!!!

...As my mother once said "Watch out crossing lady, prepare to DIE!!"

So... i should quit dreaming and get back to work!

              cheers

I'm with you Chuck - Love the car - Hate the front end, it makes a sports car look like a feeding sperm whale!

And I'm only 36 this year.
