    55/56 356 A Sunroof Coupe

Here is a car that we just finished ... I think that it looks uber cool, just wanted to share some pics

It is an original Aussie delivery in 55/56. It has the V sunroof, beehive lights, and we just put Rudge Wheels on it. The silver is actually a Merc silver, and we have just had Jason do our Roadster in the same colour, the trim will be the same as well. Great colour combo don't you think? Wonder how it would look on a 901?

Hope you guys like it too.

Pity I have to run some miles on it this weekend

I meant the colour combo Rich not the wheels! Sorry probably my bad punctuation!

The green interior is perfect Justin, as the silver has a green fleck through it, it matches beautifully!

We bought this car about 6 years go from Sydney. The guy that had it had the car for quite some time and never restored it. The worst part of the story was that when I bought the car, dad was going overseas, so I he was on a plane when I finally did the deal with the guy. I paid him, and then had the truck organised to pick it up that following Monday.

Problem was, that the truck company could not raise him, his phone was then disconnected and the car was nowhere to be found. Well I tried to fix this problem myself while dad was away, and still had nothing once he was back! So now I had to face the music with dad, saying the car is nowhere to be found and we don't have the money!

We took out an ad in the Sydney Morning Herald chasing info on this guy and had 6 calls. One was his brother, and to cut a long story short, he called me (this was about a month later), and we got the car that week.

Learnt my lesson! Thank god the car has come out like it has!!!

Don't know the history of the car as to who the original owner was etc, but will do some research so that I can build a nice file for it.

beautiful. i think the green interior looks great. killer wheels.

reminds me a little of the ex-jennings 911, which has a green interior and a purple (cadillar paint to sample) exterior. sounds odd - looks fantastic.

Thanks boys, glad you like! Wheels are nice, they should be for what they cost!!

The Roadster in the similar colour is looking awesome too. Should be finished by the end of the year. Green hood too!!

                      Alex -- Magnificent!!!!

I'm sure the wheels were a minor nic in the cheque account compared to the overall cost...
