    Car looks great Clyde!

How was the interest from the public compared to the 901 display days?

    Cheers,

    Harry.

Lots of tennis people round and 70% of the cars were red which attracts people

Your BIL Peter should have had his car there way better than other spyders!!

          Hi Peter

Not that impressed to be honest except for the few guys who had old cars and understood

Where else are you going to see a 9200 mile 1974 Alfa with no rust......

There was an awesome LHD 1960 Guilia Spyder, 66 boat tail Duetto and a lovely green 1970 series 2 1750 my all time favourite Alfa. Those owners understood and were impressed, the rest with their new cars didn't give it a cursory glance to be honest....same would probably happen at a Porsche day if our old cars turned up amongst the GT3's etc.

Pete applied to attend the Fed Sq display in 2015 and 2016, he didn't get a guernsey although a couple of 156s and a Mito did.

When it comes to the Alfa a Club it's a case of not what you have but who you know it would seem.

              Cheers,

              Harry.

                I didn't know anyone!!!

Yes too many newer cars there for my liking when there would be many great early cars for such a display. The interest was definately in the earlier spyders and GTV's present

I think we have the right formula of course helped by our narrow band of interest (901 Porsches)
