    Old cars and Rally Clocks

I am now visiting my brother and sister-in-law who live outside of Cleveland, Ohio. They have been into all sorts of cars over the years, but they still hold onto one thats been around with them quite a while - a 1933 Frazer-Nash. They were supposed to have the car over in Europe around this time to compete again in a hill climb in Switzerland that it won some 50+ years ago . They have campaigned the car over the years both in the USA and Europe in club runs they call "Raids". The car has a four cylinder engine of about 1500cc capacity but only weighs a bit over 800 kgs so its reasonably quick. However it has a chain drive to the rear axle and an "interesting" transmission to say the least.

Hopefully I get a ride in it next week once timing issues get sorted out.

And as we were talking about some of their old rallying days my brother in law produced this set of 3 Heuer dash mounted rally clocks. His father had purchased these late '50's or early 60's and they used them when attending races at Watkins Glen running in Historic races . These are also marked "Abercrombie & Fitch" as the retailer sold them through their specialist sporting stores in the 50's thru the 70's. He also had some special mounting brackets I have never seen before which allows them to be slid in an out rather than be permanently screwed to the dash. I know there are several watch collectors on this site and wonder if anyone has seen these mounts before ?
