    Autumn in Upwey

Had the day off today to do a few things around home - including re-fitting my Blaupunkt Stuttgart which was recently repaired by the young nerd.
It was a wonderful and relaxing autumn day up here in Upwey, so I thought I'd share some shots I took around the property - and not a car in sight.

                  Justin R............for your edification.

Marcus R, You are correct, I was very direspectful of young Stephen (aka nerd) as he did a terrific job in rebuilding the switch/volume mechanism in my old Blaupunkt - using magnifier and tweezers to retension the tiny springs and sliding mechanisms (although he doesn't think much of the switch design).
Also you may remember from a previous post the problem I had with a hard drive crash, and the likelihood that file recovery was to cost many hundreds of dollars - well Young Stephen has devised a way to remove the platter and install it into another drive, re-align the heads and recover data - he's confident of success - I'll keep you informed. If it works, I'll have a new job - "Nerd Manager"

Clyde, I knew that'd be your response - I should've raked up all those messy leaves (with a tooth brush ) prior to taking the photos

That's way serious nerdism (think I just made up a new adjective). Be careful though, people who consider that sort of stuff fun usually end up shooting up post offices or fast food retaurants.

                    Lovely photos...
