I agree and disagree, the guards make it look cool, but I do love the narrow body with minimal details. Either way, I still would love one as a daily driver.
Have to make do the R32 at the moment - it is soon to go!
I'd prefer the narrow body in Viper Green, with a set of cup wheels and cup suspension I think.
Loved Steve Webb's car @ CA... I remember seeing it on Trade me... and pondered what if. Unlike Ryan I'm very partial to yellow.
I drove a Carrera 4 a few weeks ago and it was surprisingly good... I reckon they are lovely... but the servicing costs (as this was the first truly modern 911 packed full of electronics) is somewhat eye watering.
I have too confess to a 964rs craving that has been niggling for some time. Love the Green machine being subtle but not so if that makes sense
I agree, looks the ducks.
Sorry for being absent for a while.
I had a 964RS for a while. Guards Red. Used to run in Carrera Cup in the UK. Brilliant car. 2 seats, a steering wheel, no power steering (was RHD but someone removed it for racing). Sold it to fund other things (see below)
Personally, I reckon the 964 is under rated and a great buy for a daily driver and I reckon would make a sensational project.
On another note, the 2.4E is finished and running but I dont know how to post photo's. Any clues here?

To post, the photo file (jpg) needs to be about 50 - 100kb.
There are numerous software options available, but I use Picasa 3, which is a free Google product and is simply downloaded.
Files from your camera can be directly loaded into Picasa via the Import function. In Picasa you can set up libraries, enhance/crop photos etc.etc.etc.
To reduce the photo file size (to enable posting on this site) simply select the photos you wish to post and select the "Export" function. This will place the reduced files (approx 50-60kb) in a "Picasa Exports" folder.
These can then be selected via the "Manage Attachments" option when posting on TYP901 site.
