Check out the Indian! More to come...for those of us into historic racing (and even those who aren't) it was eye candy galore...I didn't know where to look first - the VHRR must be highly commended as this meeting was so well organised; the depth of the entry list was incredible and from what I hear it will be bigger next year!Attached Files

A very special car Kurtis 500 Indy car 1957
Here are 3 shots of the Kurtis 500 Indy car.
Comments from the programme. " This Kurtis 500 was built for the European / United States Challenge Series at Monza in 1957. Driven by Ray Crawford it finished 6th. returning to Monza in 1958, Ray improved for a 4th place This car competed at Indianapolis from 1957 till 1962. Driven by Jim McElrith in 1962 it lapped in 149.5 mph (240kph) and finished 6th making Jim rookey of the year.
during 1964 it was used by firestone for tyre testing at their test track where it was required to lap at 180mph (290kph)Hugh Hodges
