    Think you're handy?

    The story goes that, in 1993, French handyman Emile Leray found himself stuck in the Moroccan desert with a broken down Citroën 2CV. With only ten days of rations he built a motorcycle from the damaged car and made it out of the desert. He did this without a torch or power tools but only what he had with him. The website is in French but not hard to follow:

              Made from grab straps and seatbelt webbing perhaps

              Glad we can't see the likely 'seatbelt g-string action' attachment of said underwear from behind!!

                          When I got stuck at the top of Mt Buller once in a 911 I thought I wouldn't be able to get back down. Fortunately I spotted and old plough in a nearby paddock. I had some cable ties and a few spanners in the tool box so I set about making this downhill bike.
                          It was a bit hairy with no brakes but it got me down the mountain.
