ok... it is with much sadness that i announce that my leave pass for Thredbo 2010 has been revoked.

apparently 550kms and 6 hours of driving is too much if the baby decides to turn up 2.5 weeks early...

I can sympathise, my leave pass for the annual boy's ski trip this last season was also revoked with the same 2-3 week time frame until expected due date....... and we were 2 weeks overdue in the end.

We now have a healthy 7 week old boy!!

This has been my first year where such matters have played a factor in my life.

This will not be the last time a leave pass is revoked...

And there's a fair chance that quite a few leave psses to come won't make it past risk management, compliance and control...

However, I thought you were a good numbers man ? Surely you could have planned the dates a bit better ? Put a calendar up over the bed and mark off all the important car club events, then just subtract 9 months from the current date.

Easy.

Remember this for next time.

I have a bit of cash stashed away for the car... And my father is doing a couple of deals that might yield me 2 side by side single garages for pulling it all apart. It isn't hopeless by any means (yet)!
