Alex Peters from Porsche Centre Melbourne (service/parts dept) may be able to help. From memory I think he used to me a TYP 901 member.

I heard earlier ones had problems with plastic intake manifolds cracking or otherwise requiring replacement. Not sure if this problem remained in 05-07 models ? Think it was just the 4.5 V8's.

Also I think they all have problems with holes in their fuel tanks as a full tank doesnt appear to last very long........

Yes but the Cayenne enabled Porsche to bring us a string of GT3 RS's and the Carrera GT... so I'll forgive the Cayenne for that Fishcop.

Have you ever sat in one toady? They may not be pretty, but they sure are fun on the inside! And it was either this a c'dore wagon, which I actually still like!

Don't be too rude I might have to get you to test drive one this week!!!!

                        Andrew,

great move with the Cayenne - fun to drive, room for the kids, fully loaded with kit and the Turbo I just bought goes like shyte off a shovel....!

Most of all you'll enjoy the differences between it and the 901 - it makes them both more fun when they are not trying to do a job they were never built to do.
