    Confusion between models!

Has anyone noticed the last image on this ad?
I'm still fairly new to this scene and always learning but I am certain that this image depicts an 83-85 model rather than the impeccable 73 model that is shown in all of the other images?
    Correct me if I'm wrong.......................

Yes, indeed, both models will cost you lots to acquire and lots to keep. In fact, they both may send you broke. It may also be the case that they are temperamental, break down with out notice or reason, and need to spend excessive time away in the care of experts [at great expense] where you will get very little enjoyment or use. They will rust, slow over time, require accessories, and tempt others to steal. Your friends however will be envious. The orange model will probably appreciate in value. Perhaps it is best to borrow someone else's or rent one when the urge arises.

It now occurs to me why I was confused. Obviously the last image is a ‘back-date’ as is has a small bumper and is narrow bodied.
Agree the 73 model will be a better long term investment as this ‘back-date’ clearly has a lack of UV protection and is not likely to age well.

Unfortunately when it comes time to get rid of the later model, depreciation is such that it'll cost you half of everything you own.

Half, if your lucky, if there are any pedal cars that match the later model your assets will depreciate at an even greater rate, trust me, I know!!!!!!!!
