I do recall there being a couple of car "vanity studios" displaying their wares at the last couple of Motorclassica's, so perhaps a quick search of their website for previous participants might uncover some possibilities.

Car photography
Does anyone in Melbourne have leads regarding reasonably priced automotive photography? I was planning on giving my brother a studio shoot of his replica Cobra for his birthday but on contacting a place in East Melbourne I got the, 'get you in with a low initial fee and then sock you for prints afterwards' approach that many studios seem to use. On pressing them for numbers it seems $2000 was the minimum that you would actually pay to get one framed print at the end.
Bearing in mind these don't have to super professional jobs just some nice pics taken in a studio setting which you can't really do yourself.
Failing that I guess a location shoot could also be good but that would be a little harder to time with weather etc. (Melbourne!)
I was hoping to be able to get something for around $600- am I dreaming?Tags: None
