    77 Carrera 3.0 purchase...

It's not a 901, but I promised the prez I would post a few pics of my latest purchase. 1977 Carrera 3.0, Australian delivered and matching numbers. The first owner was radio personality John Laws .

I haven't had a chance to give it a good detail yet, but here are a couple of pics below...

Very nice car, love the black Damien.
Carrera's must be the flavor of the month. Just bought a Grand Prix white 84 Carrera from Rob Raymer. Will look nice parked next to each other. Will post some pics shortly.

          Nice Damian,
I couldn't tell from the pics, are they Sport seats?
Looks as though it has the full rubber tail?
I probably need to send you a PM.

              Hi Chris,

It wasn't ordered with the turbo seats, unfortunately and yes it's the full rubber tail, which (even though confusion and debate still rages) was the '77 model year spec. However, I understand some '77's were fitted with the '76 glass / rubber tip tail - which I think look much better.

Lovely car, congrats. It's a great interior!

I HATE those tails - I would delete a tail all together, or more realistically paint up a standard rear deck and swap.

I believe the Rubber tail was an ADR requirement. (Safety)

                              Great car Damien. Congrats.

The C3.o is a favourite of mine.

I understand those glass/rubber tails are not that easy to come by.
