Aircooled historics - Krusty old men go racing

    It's aircooled it's cool it's circa 1958 it's not a Porsche

As Wakefield is sort of down the road, thought I'd try my hand at some racing. Bit of work to do first though, comes with another fully rebuilt engine and other spares. Cams log booked, original drivers diaries and a wad of other history

Hi Michel, awesome!! Back in the late 50's / early 60's dad was a foundation member in a go-cart club and the power train was a heavily modified BSA bantam motor before McCullochs became the engine of choice. My first motorbike was a Royal Enfield 500, a model that was built in England not India as they are today. Enjoy

Finally after a long arm wrestle managed to get access to the garage and collected the BB

Also managed to get the original driver diary , cams log book, newspaper clippings, pics etc...

plenty tread, likely dead if you run on em. Will swap them along with the shocks. Brakes were fresh built, need checking. Both engines fresh build no hours. And chassis needs a once over as reading the drivers diary and period news clippings it's had a life.. Been helped by an ex F1 susp specialist local to me.

Hoping fired up in a few weeks and in time for the next GEAR meet at Wakefield
