What loss Stevie-Ray was at such a young age.

Did you see this Sal. Amazing for one so young. Cover of Steve Vai.

          Thank you, Merv, wow!

I cried hard the day Steve crashed...

I saw him twice, once with Jimmy Vaughan. Amazing.

That French girl playing is stunning but given her complete fixation, I suspect some location on the ASD spectrum ... It all helps.

You're dead right Merv. I have a young cousin with similar and he is a brilliant guitarist..

                Cheers Sal.

Going big screen with a beer now.

Quite a few guitarists on this forum. Albert King is one of my favourites of all time and Stevie was just the best....ever.

It would of been amazing to see him play live.

                Thanks for sharing mate.

True. This is the one that started it ... and he was booed by some. Played the past part with the guitar behind his back

Porsches and Blues. Great taste Jim.

I've got a ton of bootlegs of Albert and Stevie which I'll figure out how to share with you.

Also, a great video is "SRV Live @ El Mocambo"

Merv, I can't believe he was booed!

He was booed because he was different. He took all the words of others and made his own language. Which these days seems seems a long time between drinks.
The people doing the booing probably couldn't even tune a guitar.

Here is something a little different.

There were reportedly some 'traditional' blues fans there who didn't get his renditions. They were wrong as history shows. If you haven't seen his playing behind his back at the event - partly in his form of protest - it is incredible. My 2 year old grand son has a small guitar and mimics all his moves, including the under the leg playing.
