Hi All,
Getting this event in planning early this year... Spread the word!

The Lakeside Classic is a brilliant event for a historic race car fix at a picturesque historic race track. There will likely be: Escorts, Datsuns, Toranas, HQs, classic Skylines, Sierras, Mustangs etc that all make great viewing.

We are going with a similar format to a couple years ago and car wise pretty much anything goes but we'd certainly love to see anything Porsche or air-cooled. If we get enough interest perhaps we could ask for a display area!?

We'll be setting up a BBQ breakfast/brunch and sit around to tell a few tales, watch some classic racing, check out fellow members cars while putting names to faces...

All welcome!

The only bad thing about finishing the 912 is having to choose which car to drive!! Ha!!

Hi Guys

Lakeside have had some great classic meets of late and I am sure this one will be no different.

Looks like I still won't have a flat 6 to drive there so I'll be taking the '65 Ambulance so we can can drop the tailgate and have a cook up... Braai, if you will...

It will be a great format for any new members to 'meet and greet' informally and have a look over some nice cars.
