Hey guys I did the tour in my targa and it's one of the best driving experiences ever. It's like doing 2 of Clyde's and Petes run every day for 6 days, what a buz highly recommend it. The car didn't miss a beat. I'm waiting on the video and will make it available if anyone es intrerested. I'm going to do the high country run in November with some great people I met at targa from qland.

A friend of mine did it several times in his first series M3 and each time managed to break the suspension in some way, despite expensive preparation

I'm envious Gus - its on my list to do.... but I always seem to have something else on. While I love the driving the socialising, and meeting people you wouldn't otherwise meet also appeals

Also not sure how my fiancée Peta would go - we joke that if we did it - we'd be divorced before we get married!

I can recommend getting it over early Justin, only costs more the longer it lasts

I was fortunate to be a dinner table with Barry Humphries a few years ago and the topic of marriage and divorce came up. He suggested, "find some one you really dislike and buy her a house".

Justin, after 40 years of happy marriage I can't agree.

Just watched the classic Targa on the web - it was emailed to me.

Very interesting.... and enjoyable. Focused on 2 guys in the Classic Class who came 2nd and 3rd - and good friends. One in a 308 Ferrari (the fox, with 2 fox tails attached to the back of the car) and another guy in a 550hp Monaro (the hound).

After a week they finished less than 10 seconds apart and appear to have had a ball.
