Hi prez can't we do it early august please I'm off to pebble beach that week, that means I'll have missed the last 2 runs I just can't cope !!!

Gus, make sure you buy your tickets online before August 1st as they increase to US$375 just for General admission. I had considered staying on in California for this event but need to be back Australia soon. we fly out next Wednesday for home. Hope you have all your accommodation organised as I know this sells out fast. I also assume you are getting there early to enjoy all the lead up events as well Its an overwhelming event with non stop activities, but is also becoming a very expensive event to attend especially the auctions where its around $200 just to watch !

Hi Gus, have a safe trip and be sure to post lots of photos. Enjoy the Quail Lodge event. I heard the tickets cost $1500 !

Assuming Mark approves of my route we are 11 starters so far.

1. Leaving from BP in Rockbank on the Western Freeway at 8am

2. General route is to Ballan then Trentham, Kyneton, Mia Mia, via Lake Eppalock to Heathcote and then depending on how we are going for time Kilmore, Wallan and home or Lancefield/ Romsey/Wallan and home.

We will stop in Kyneton for coffee and a toilet break (approx 9.30) and again in Heathcote for similar. We found a nice cafe in Wallan last run so some who are not time poor might like to join me there for lunch.

Any further starters please indicate here ONLY IF YOU ARE ATTENDING. I am not really interested if your mother in law may or may not be coming over, prefer only to deal only with positive responses please
