AV, would have liked to but I'm overseas....by the way I went to the Maling Road Auto Classica last Sunday. Didn't see any small bumper cars there. Three 356s and a few later models. Understand you have to pay if you want to display your cars (between $200-$1000 depending on position)

Turned out to be a good day. Sun, rain, wind. Repeat.
There was a pretty good turn out. Apparently a black 914 got the award for best Porsche. I guess that's all the VW club could stomach

Apart from changeable weather - it was good.... goods catching up with the usual suspects.

Nice variety of cars - vw's - BM's (I loved the blue Evo M3 ex Japan.).

..that black 914 belongs to club member and sponsor Clive Massell (Makulu Vehicle Storage) so I reckon he must have got all his family and friends to cast votes as the awards were based on "public" voting.
Congratulations to Clive, but "best Porsche" .....far from it.
It was actually parked next to me, so I can't understand how it received more votes than mine .
There was a good roll up of TYP901ers - Dave P, AV, Justin, Sal, Damian, Douglas (photographer), Craig S, Evan, Clive and maybe a few others.

I can see how a 914 could win

Some beautiful German marques there though think the weather impacted seeing a greater range than would have been expected.
