PCNSW Concours last Sunday at Fagan Park

I went up to Sydney for this - as was asked to drive a friends car to the venue. And what a car it was!

Some wonderful shots by Rob Scheeren from Autofokus 911, as always. Really captured the essence of the day.

Not as many early cars as I would have hoped - I may need to take the L up next year.

Was wonderful seeing and meeting the new owner of the grey 911T from Perth ( check the number plate and refer back to opening scenes of LeMans.

Looks like great weather Justin. Whats the story with CRS 911 ? Is it actually forest rallied ?

Its one of several ex London Sydney cars that stayed after the rally in the early 90's

They languished in sheds for years and seem to be being re-discovered. I know of this and another car.... and there were a few more.... one of which was crashed in a big way in Targa Tas 15-20 years ago.

So who won the day ? Hopefully not that red 944 again that I have seen at many of these events.

The red 928S - it was in the display tent at Rennsport in 2016.

A lovely car... the owner also owned both tractors there - a single and a twin cylinder.

For an unadulterated plug my young nephew Liam presented the trophy. A bit of a proud uncle moment!

The outright winner is presented with the Brian Reed Memorial Trophy ( Brian Reed was my late father).

Likewise - car is lovely.... makes me regret not buying it!

And a very cool numberplate - only the real cognoscenti would work out as well !

Will try to bring my swb up from Melbourne next year - might enter it with bug splatters from the 600 mile drive still in place!
