Clyde, trying hard to get my newly painted car there. It will be down to the wire especially since it Saturday and not Sunday. Election day too.

I can confirm we will be running the show and shine which has 2 sections, public voting and then some secret judges.

Each car will have a numbered sign to slip under the wipers and there will be a voting table (perfect given the other event happening that day) where the public can add a sigle token per person into the same numbered container of their favourite car.

No car can with both trophies and the public decison takes precedence over the judged decision.

Sorry Mick but unlike PCV your car is inelegible for voting.

Kane worked all thru the night and engine should be back in this afternoon, then over for RWC so El prez can sign off on Club Permit. Had to get it re-registered because VicRoads forgot to send me renewal papers last year and when I finally realised, I had missed extended rego cutoff by one day. Apparently it happens often so be aware in case it happens to you.

Car is looking resplendent in its original Aubergine colour. Great job by Jason at Chequered Flag.

My car is now back on Club Plates and ready to go. Tks to Kane and Clyde for getting RWC and permit papers all signed up today. Clyde tells me there is another freshly painted 911 that should be there.. I guess it will be up to the public if they like Aubergine or Black......
