The 7th annual Flinders Motoring Heritage 2024 was held yesterday, Easter Sunday, in the beautiful coastal township of Flinders on the Mornington Peninsula .
On display, in perfect weather, were over 100 classic vehicles from veteran and vintage to modern classics.
Five TYP901 members had Porsches on display and one was entered for judging.....Clydes '73E.
Having won the "Best Oily Rag"award last year for this car, this year it was judged "Best in Show" ..... congratulations Clyde on a well deserved result.
There were other cars which were deserving of this award, however, in my and more importantly the judge's opinion, the best car won.
BTW, the head judge, Brian Hussey , is of world standard, both as a judge and classic vehicle restorer as described in his attached CV hereunder.
