356 concourse incorporating our annual typ 901 display

Once again the 356 Register have been kind enough to extend an invitation to the TYP 901 register to display our cars at their annual concourse event to be held on

SATURDAY NOVEMBER 30TH at the usual location in Como Park Sth Yarra.

Hello all,
with the best of intentions, and with Carl Jones’s offer to drive my 2.4 to Como, (because of my broken wrist and can’t drive), the weather forecast was not good, and the prospects of standing in the rain for 6 hours did encourage me to attend. Yes a poor. Excuse I know.
I did walk around late morning for an hour.
The number of 356 whilst was. Impressive but well down on previous years, no doubt because of the adverse forecast.
A pity as I am sure the organisers had put much work in setting up the event.
Sadly our own club was few in numbers.
Oh well come on
